Kids Markets - Where Children Become Entrepreneurs
This year's Spring Home & Outdoor Living Expo brings a new attraction to the show! Visit the Kids Markets area on the east side of the show floor to see what these young entrepreneurs have to offer and lend your support to their ideas and efforts along with their families and the community. Read on to learn more about the Kids Markets program.
Kids Markets (formerly the Children’s Entrepreneur Market) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs. At each market, children ages 5–17 launch their own small businesses and sell real products or services to real customers in a fun, supportive community environment.
What makes Kids Markets unique is that kids do everything themselves—from creating their products and setting prices to interacting with customers and handling sales. This hands-on experience helps them develop critical life skills like confidence, communication, financial literacy, and problem-solving.
Each booth you’ll see is a young entrepreneur’s idea brought to life—whether it’s handmade crafts, creative services, or innovative products. Families and community members play an important role by stopping by, asking questions, and supporting these young business owners.
While you’re at the 2026 Spring Home & Outdoor Living Expo, be sure to visit the Kids Markets area to shop, support, and encourage these incredible young entrepreneurs—your purchase and encouragement make a lasting impact.
